Certified professionals
Our instructors are more than just skilled skiers and snowboarders — they are certified professionals with specialized training and real-world experience. Many of them hold certifications from Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) and Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) — the most recognized and respected ski and snowboard instructor certification bodies in Canada. This means their teaching meets the highest standards of safety, technique, and progression, ensuring every student receives high-quality, structured, and personalized instruction.

Kevin Qin
TURNS SKI AND SNOWBOARD INC. 的创始人，拥有七年滑雪与单板教学经验。他持有 CASI 二级认证、Park 一级认证，并已通过CASI 三级 教学认证，是一名兼具扎实技术与丰富教学经验的专业教练。
他专注于基础入门、全地形滑行、公园技巧、刻滑进阶以及考前专项培训，教学风格简洁高效，强调技术要点与实战体验。Kevin 热衷于探索世界各大雪场，包括欧洲、美国和日本等地，通过多年的实地滑行与交流积累了丰富的国际经验，为学员带来更全面、多元的滑雪视角。
Founder of TURNS SKI AND SNOWBOARD INC., with 7 years of professional experience snowboard instruction. He holds CASI Level 2 certification, Park Level 1 certification, and has successfully passed the teaching component of CASI Level 3, demonstrating strong technical and teaching expertise.
Specializing in beginner fundamentals, all-mountain riding, park skills, carving progression, and exam preparation, Kevin’s teaching style is clear, efficient, and focused on real-snow application. Passionate about riding at major resorts around the world — including Europe, the U.S., and Japan — he brings a global perspective and rich on-snow experience to every lesson.

He creates a fun and supportive environment where every student can build confidence and improve steadily.
Joyce Tang

Hello hello! My name is Joyce and I’ve been a CSIA Level 1 instructor for nearly three years and a skier for even longer. For the past five years, I’ve been consistently hitting the mountains whenever I’m not teaching. Getting to go down mountains like Chamonix in France and Zermatt in Switzerland has equipped me with a lifetime’s worth of memories, stories, and experience.
I excel at handling skiers ranging from pre-teen to young adult, as my teaching style consists mostly of technical explanations and demonstrations. I love introducing people to skiing, and the majority of my students are first-timers. My most fluent language is English, but I’m capable of holding short conversations in Chinese and French if necessary. I can’t wait to meet and teach all of my new students!
大家好！我是Joyce，我已经担任加拿大CSIA一级滑雪教练将近三年了，滑雪的时间更是更久。在过去的五年里，只要我不在教学，就一定会去雪山上练习和享受滑雪。像法国的霞慕尼和瑞士的采尔马特这样的雪场，给了我无数珍贵的回忆、故事和经验。

Hi, I am Michael. I am a CSIA Level 1 Ski Instructor. I can teach in both English and Mandarin. Since 2024, I have taught seven beginners and have also assisted at the ski school. My students include both first-timers and early learners, ranging from Grade 6 students to adults.
My teaching style is encouraging and patient. I focus on helping beginners build confidence and master the basic techniques. In my lessons, I emphasize safety and fundamentals, while creating a relaxing and supportive atmosphere. My goal is for every student to improve their skills while enjoying the fun and growth that skiing brings.
我叫Michael，是CSIA一级滑雪教练，可以中英文教学。自2024年开始教学以来，我独立教过7位滑雪新手，并在滑雪学校当过助教。在我的学员中，既有零基础学员，也有初学者，年龄从小学六年级到成人。
